JAPAN DRAW CROATIA 0-0
The match between Japan and Croatia was drawn 0-0 in Nuremberg on Sunday.

This result brings bad news for both the teams as both the teams are in danger of failing to advance at the World Cup. Both the teams got one point each and have one match to play. This Group F match showcased solid goalkeeping on both sides. Kranjcar hit the crossbar in the 28th minute. Croatia almost scored a goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, Niko Kranjcar failed in hitting a

pass from Ivan Klasnic on target. He missed wide of the post. Junichi Inamoto replaced Takashi Fukunishi in the beginning of the second half. Keiji Tamada replaced Atsushi Yanagisawa in the 61st minute. Croatia had many chances of

scoring a goal in the first half but they could not be materialized because of excellent saves from Japan goalkeeper Kawaguchi. Japan got close to a goal in the first half when Akira Kaji sent a cross to Yanagiswa but it was hit wide of the post. Japan captain Tsuneyasu Miyamoto was given a yellow card in the 21st minute for taking down Dado Prso. Japan will play Brazil while Croatia will face

Australia in their next Group F matches.
