FRANCE DRAW SOUTH KOREA 1-1
South Korea held France to a 1-1 draw in the Group G match at Leipzig on

Sunday. South Korea succeeded is drawing the match when Park Ji-Sung scored the goal for South Korea in the 81st minute. Park hit the ball past France goalkeeper Fabien Barthez and defender William Gallas. South Korea put a praiseworthy performance against the strong French team. Thierry Henry scored the first goal of the match in the ninth minute. This was France's first World Cup goal since the 1998

final. Henry made another attempt to score a goal, which was nullified by South Korean goalkeeper Lee Woon-jae. South Korea is at the top of Group G with

four points from two matches in its kitty. France is at second place with two points. If France wants to advance to the next stage they'll have to defeat Togo in their final game. In the 2002 South Korea/Japan World Cup, France had an early exit as it could not reach the second stage. Zinedine Zidane will miss the match with Togo as he was shown the second yellow card of the

round. Zidane plans to retire after this World Cup.
