Being the most successful team in the FIFA World Cup's history, Brazil Soccer Team is ranked as world's number one football team. The Brazilian soccer team has been football champions for five times. Brazil is playing in Group F. Other teams in the group are Croatia, Australia and Japan. They are the only team to have qualified for every single FIFA World Cup.

The Brazil Soccer Team had to face problems in qualifying for South Korea/Japan 2002. But the powerful team showed its caliber and went on to win the 2002 S.Korea/Japan World Cup. The Brazilians are preparing to their best to defend their world crown this FIFA season.

During the qualifiers the Brazilian team played in the CONMEBOL (S. America Zone). In the 18 qualifying matches which Brazil played, it lost only two. The Selecao recorded nine wins, seven draws and two defeats. Brazil Team finished with 34 points securing the top position in the South American Group. Brazil scored more goals than any of the rivals, they scored a total of 35 goals. They were defeated by Argentina in Buenos Aires. But later they gave their rival a four-goal hiding in the final of the FIFA confederations Cup.

The team is an explosive mixture of talented players. The FIFA World Player of the Year Ronaldinho, Captain Marcos Cafu, Luiz Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos are the players to watch from the Brazilian team.

The soccer-crazy nation is home to 200 million Brazilian fans, who are expecting another feather in their country's cap this time. Brazil Soccer Team has always been full on its entertainment quotient. And this year the Brazilians are definitely a team to watch more because of the reason that for close to half a century a South American side has not won on European grounds.
