Scott Carson plays for Liverpool as goalkeeper. He is a promising young goalkeeper. Still to make his debut for England, he came as a substitute to Paul Robinson after he was sent off against Middlesbrough in late January 2004. He was noticed in 2004 and was signed for Liverpool in January 2005. He made 5 appearances in the 2004/05 season. Carson won his first winner's medal in Liverpool's dramatic 2005 UEFA Champions League final triumph. He played in only seven league matches for his two clubs. At the end of 2005/06 campaign at Sheffield Wednesday, he replaced Robert Green when the player was injured against Belarus.
