Ryan Rabel currently plays for Amsterdam side, Ajax (Netherlands) at forward position. He made his debut for Netherlands on 26 March, 2005. He made his presence felt when he scored the second goal in the 2-0 win over Romania in Bucharest. He became the youngest Dutch player to score a goal for 68 years. Babel made his debut for the Ajax at the age of 17 years. Babel can play as a central striker and also a wide attacker in front three. His speed and trickery are his weapons when he plays on the field.
Babel scored his first goal for Ajax in a 5-0 league win against De Graafschap on 20 November, 2004. At the end of 2004/05 season, he had seven Eredivisie strikes to his credit. He was also a part of last summer's FIFA World Youth Championship. Here, he scored in the wins against Japan and Chile. In this championship, the Dutch reached the last eight.
