Christian Benitez plays for El Nacional (ECU) at the forward position. He is the son of Ecuador's great player, Ermen Benitez. He has soccer prowess in his genes and that shows when he comes out in the field. He showed his skills as a part of the country's U-17 and U-20 teams. He is an immensely talented player. Benitez won his place for the national set-up after last March's friendly defeat to Holland. His Copa Libertadores experience is an added advantage for him.
